Labels in the automotive industry are subject to excessive stress in the form of high temperatures, greasy and dirty surfaces, and exposure to various external factors. Creativity often takes a back seat here. Instead, high-quality and durable materials, and printing technologies, come to the fore.
We provide our customers with maximum support in finding a suitable and functional solution by testing in the laboratory, where we simulate the required conditions. It is always necessary to define what function the label will have, what kind of wear it will face, and what are the other criteria for its application. We offer free samples of the material for testing in the field.
Labels for the automotive industry and industrial automation are mostly informative, so we focus less on original design and more on practical functionality and quality. In this sector, we most often produce graphic labels, with final printing and a wide range of finishing options or protective varnishes. Also popular are blank labels, designed for later imprinting to suit a specific batch or type of application.
The vast majority of labels for the automotive industry are supplied on rolls. Since they are often imprinted before application, it is advisable to use thermal transfer printers or use our digital printing technology. We can produce customised variable labels with custom numbering or a QR or EAN variable code. With labels intended for imprinting using your own printer, we emphasise the exact specification of the appropriate TTR ribbon used to complete the subsequent print.
In such matters, as well as with regards to printing more generally, we will of course be happy to advise you – how to best select and produce the required labels, whether in small quantities using digital printing, or in large volumes on our flexographic printing machines.
When choosing a suitable material, an initial analysis of the application is essential: What extreme conditions must the label withstand in terms of functionality and durability? What is the exact specification of the substrate and application conditions?
