A package that adapts. Flexible packaging is one of the most widely used types of packaging. It is used to preserve the desired properties of a product – preserving the aroma, for instance, while providing resistance to moisture, UV radiation, etc.
We produce flexible packaging using both flexographic and digital printing machines.
Generally, flexographic printing technologies are particularly suitable for longer, higher volume jobs. They allow us to use material widths of up to 440 mm, enabling us to print multiple productions side by side. This makes production more efficient and cost-effective. When creating a graphic design, you can use up to 10 units for inks and/or subsequent finishing, such as hot embossing, cold embossing, varnishes, laminates, and more. No-one will be able to take their eyes from your product.
For shorter jobs with smaller volumes, on the other hand, digital printing with up to 7 colours and, as with flexo, a wide range of subsequent finishing is ideal. An undeniable benefit is also the possibility of unique designs. Variable data and numbering will save you a lot of work and time with any later imprinting.
Flexible packaging must meet the required certifications and standards. Equally, its function needs to be specified and its barrier requirements need to be taken into account.
We produce flexible packaging primarily for customers in the food industry – tea and food supplement manufacturers are typical customers. However, they are also extensively used in the pharmaceutical, drugstore, and cosmetic industries.
We print on film, paper, aluminum or materials made from a combination of the three. These materials vary from single-layer to multi-layer.
Three materials laminated on top of each other. Top layer of PET material + aluminum barrier + PE film for better bondability.
Two materials laminated on top of each other. This might be paper + PE film, for instance.
Single-component material, e.g. BOPP film. With increasing pressure on recyclability, single-component materials are becoming more and more sought after.
Our technological capacity provides a wide range of applications. We have both flexographic printing machines and digital technology at our disposal. This production versatility makes us a comprehensive partner. We are able to assist with both large and small batch production, from basic materials to more complex, bespoke solutions.
Quality is our alpha and omega. We are able to satisfy even the most demanding needs, thanks to the possibility of printing in up to 10 colours and to countless types of finishing. Let your product shine.
We can handle materials up to 440 mm wide. This allows us to print multiple productions side by side. This makes production more time and cost efficient.
In addition to UV inks and water-based inks, we offer special low-migration inks that do not penetrate from the label and packaging surface to the product itself. This makes them suitable for direct contact with food.
Hot or cold embossing, holographic elements, lamination and special varnishes, adhesive printing, rotary screen printing, and much more. Thanks to a range of finishing equipment, our variety of finishing options is really wide. Feel free to contact us with any enquiries, we will be delighted to discuss printing options with you.
