A great help when your label is not able to fit all the words you need, or you want to prioritize design over text.
Peel-off labels are multi-layered labels that allow you to place more information in a limited area than a traditional single-layer label can hold. This gives you many times more space for your content (text or graphics), which can be spread over a maximum of three layers, including the option to print on the adhesive – i.e. double-sided. Because one corner or a designated area of the adhesive is excluded, the individual layers do not stick to each other across their entire surface, and can be easily and repeatedly peeled off and glued back on at a given point.
We usually produce peel-off labels from polypropylene film, or use other solid materials that do not deform. Paper is of course also suitable. The labels can then be finished in various ways, such as screen printing or cold embossing.
A large number of our clients who use variable data, or who require smaller batches or sampling, use our digital printing. As a result, no job is too small for us. For larger volumes, we also choose flexographic printing machines to print peel-off labels.
Peel-off labels are most commonly used in the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, often also with cosmetic products. In short, wherever you need to insert a lot of content and you do not want to, or cannot, be limited by the lack of space on the product itself.
This type of label is also often used by customers for various marketing campaigns – the top part of the label is assigned to information or branding, and the other layers can contain prize codes, links, contest rules, etc.
It is also advisable to use peel-off labels if you want to prioritize design, but at the same time need to publicize important information – in this case, once again underneath the top part of the label.
For peel-off labels, we offer our customers three types of material, which we always select according to the particular order.
White, pearl, transparent, or metallic self-adhesive polypropylene film is one of the most commonly used types of film. PP film is characterised by its strength – it does not undergo deformation and cannot be torn. This makes it somewhat less pliable, and it is designed more for inflexible surfaces. We offer the film in combination with a wide range of adhesives to match the application.
This white, metallic, and transparent polyester film is intended for special applications due to its unique properties. PET film is highly heat resistant and is therefore a suitable solution for both indoor and outdoor use. The transparent version of the film really does have excellent transparency. We offer it in combination with a range of adhesives, according to the specific application and clientís needs.
We offer adhesive paper materials in matt, semi-gloss or glossy versions. The most popular of these is semi-gloss paper. We also offer this material in combination with a range of adhesives to match the specific application and needs of the client.
For all applications where the area dedicated to the label itself is not big enough. Text and essential information spread over a maximum of three stacked layers.
This gives more space for text by printing on the reverse side of the label, under the adhesive. Please note that the printed content should occupy no more than approximately 30% of the total label area.
Thanks to the partial absence of adhesive on the label surface, the individual layers do not stick to each other and can be easily peeled off.
Production of orders of any volume. Thanks to the use of digital printing, we are able to produce in small quantities and with variable data; conversely, we are also able to produce large series using flexographic printing technology.
Unique data and personalization such as the expiry date, batch number or serial order on each label.
