History of the company Český národní podnik

Český národní podnik s.r.o. is a 100% Czech enterprise, established back in 1991. Inspired by local history, tradition, and the natural world, the company develop, produce, and sell Manufaktura cosmetics through their own retail network. They pride themselves on honest quality, local production and sourcing, a high content of natural ingredients, a fine formula, sustainability, humility, and on respect for the environment.

Company values

The whole concept of cosmetics is accompanied by the concept of Czech spas, based on the republicís world-famous spa tradition, and responds to the hectic nature of modern times, often lacking in peace, quiet and relaxation. They bring their customers original recipes for home relaxation and supplement their range with various accessories for beauty rituals.

Client requirements

The company Český národní podnik approached us with a request to produce printed laminated tubes. We perceived this as a golden opportunity, because we know how to print laminate tubes, and we invited the client to come and visit our company. We always see it as a great advantage when a client visits us directly, because we have the opportunity to show them much more. The client required high quality printing, supplemented with embossing and screen printing, in addition to which they also wanted tube assembly.

Our solution

Given the overall volume of the job and the required finishing, we used our Gallus flexo press, which combines screen printing with hot or cold embossing options. For the printing itself we used printing plates from Asahi, thanks to which the final quality was just as the client had expected.

Since we are able to provide not only printing but also assembly, we saved the client the work of sorting out individual sub-deliveries, and offered everything as a complete service.

„We put out some inquiries to find a new supplier of PBL tubes for our new products. After a tour of Colognia's production facilities in February 2019, we decided to order one type of tubes. As soon as we'd seen the proof it was clear that the print quality was far superior to our existing supplier.
